Addressing Maternal and Infant Care in Georgia

For every 100,000 births in our state, about 26 women die each year from pregnancy complications. Many of these deaths are preventable. With one of the highest maternal death rates in the country, Georgia faces significant challenges when it comes to the health of moms and babies.

We are dedicated to improving maternal care. CareSource connects expecting mothers to care managers who provide self-care resources, rewards new mothers for healthy habits like post-partum visits and well-baby checkups, and provides holistic wraparound services like transportation, job placement and housing.
